  1. This is a great set up for a blog.... Everything seems very organized with your facts, videos, pictures and information on your topic. This looks very professional and well thought out. It seems that you covered the entertainment aspect with the videos and pictures, providing good facts and supporting them. Great Job

  2. i also think this is a good set up for a blog. seems more like a website and less blog-like.

i think spreading out the cartoons and videos throughout the site will be more effective, but it seems like you have good materials.

  3. Nice start.

There are certainly some entertaining moments here, and much of the copy uses an effective narrative tone. There are a few technical issues that could be addressed.

First, The images/videos are not connected to the body of your text (they appear at the bottom of the page, but where they are referenced in your post, there are only brackets and descriptions.

Also there is a tendency throughout to "telegraph your punches." I would consider, rather than saying "We are going to explore..." or "We are going to talk about...", simply diving into your argument. In writing (especially this type of rhetoric) it can be far more effective to "show" rather than "tell/explain." There is probably no need to say outright: "this is our argument." Just dive in and let your (largely effective) writing do the work.

Clear that you put some work into compiling and formulating your argument. A little polish, and it'll be an effective and successful site.

    Good work.

  4. All three aspects are filled in this blog. I would completely agree with Molly in that I felt that the set-up made it feel like a website rather than a blog. This is very unique way of setting things up by putting all the videos and images at the end. I feel that spreading them out would keep the reader entertained while reading all the information, which is great. If someone starts to read this blog and then decides to leave they don't even realize that there are videos that would go into more detail of what you're trying to get across.

  5. I liked the set up you have for the blog. It is different, but definitely in a good way. If you could maybe move the pictures up and integrate them into the text, that might be more effective than having them all at the bottom. Nice job overall, just finish polishing up the text and it will be a great website!
